who we are | what we do | why we do it

Soyini Circle’s is based upon a foundation that assists and guides the young woman towards seeking and accepting their inner beauty. Facilitor of Soyini Circle’s, Terri Staten, begins her personal meeting with young women by building a rapport with the audience whether speaking to a group of 10 or 1,000. As a master Facilitator, her powerful and dynamic speaking abilities allow her the opportunity to implement practical and innovative techniques that relate to the young girls of today. These benefits have been proven to be – Priceless! As one of the nation’s leading experts, Terri’s organization, Soyini Circle’s provides young girls and women with the strategies to deal with low self-esteem and depression. Terri is in high demand as a professional conference and keynote speaker to middle and high schools due to the success of Soyini Circle’s.

Soyini Circle’s works closely with female based organizations in an effort to set the standard in achieving high self-esteem using practical solutions in a time where the outer beauty of a woman is measured by her external characteristics and not her internal attributes. Terri’s curriculum is based on the Labelle Foundation (S.E.L.F.) a self esteem learning foundation.

The Labelle Foundation, founded in 1980, is also known as the Self-Esteem Learning Foundation. S.E.L.F. is based on the La Belle Professional training School’s experience (1963-1991) in training students (five to eighty-five years old) to overcome some of the more unfortunate aspects of life-feelings of ineptness, unattractiveness and insignificance. S.E.L.F. recognizes that these feelings can be dealt with through training and recommends the benefits that the Labelle foundation can produce.

As a youth advocate, Terri Staten is devoted towards impressing upon young girls the importance of making smart choices about their lives as it relates to the mind, body and spirit. She advocates for young girls to make a more positive and realistic approach to adolescent sexual health and activity.

If you are working with  young women who are experiencing or at the risk of developing low-self esteem, I can assure you that your organization will benefit from Soyini Circle’s practical approach, useful strategies, compassion and humor to enliven and motivate young women here and abroad.
